How many diapers do I need?
Your newborn should be changed 10-12 times a day. After
about 2-3 months your baby will need to be changed 6-10 times
a day. You will want to do laundry at least every 3 days or
sooner. You will need one insert for each day
time diaper and 2-3 inserts for each night-time diaper.
Happy Heinys One Size Diapers feature the same custom milled
fleece as Happy Heiny pocket diapers. There are NO leg casings,
which make better fitting diapers and contain messes better,
leaving NO red marks. Happy Heinys One Size cloth diapers are
made to have the fleece roll out so the only thing that touches
your baby's precious skin is the soft fleece.
Customer comments:
We love our Happy Heiny's one size cloth diapers! They're
Daddy, Mommy and babysitter friendly! Happy Heiny is our favorite
one size because they go on
our
baby
just
like disposables
without any of the chemicals and bleaching of a disposable.
The fleece
is
so soft
on baby's
skin, and customizable (stuff double at night,
on long car rides, a little trimmer for daytime...) they are
without a doubt our favorite one size cloth diapers.
I love my happy heiney's one size
cloth diapers! For someone who switched from disposable to
cloth these are the easiest
cloth
diapering
system
around.
The one size cloth diapers are absorbant and soft. The microterry
inserts with the one size during the day worked great and
I purchased hemp inserts for night. My husband even loves them.
Wash
and Care
Please do not add anything extra to your diaper laundry unless you need to. The
simpler the better.
The sun is the best stain remover. Take your wet diaper and
hang to dry in the sun. If the stain is stubborn squirt it
with a little lemon juice and it should come right out after
drying in the sun.
What about the dryer?
Everyone has their own thoughts regarding whether or not to
dry cloth diapers. Happy Heinys recommend you dry your
pocket diapers as often as you want to. Some Moms dry on
high with every wash. Drying your diapers in the dryer will
actually help to keep them functioning perfectly.
A Few More Tips:
Caring for your diapers properly
will keep your diapers looking & performing their best.
The following is a list of things that can harm your diapers & cause
the fabrics to break down resulting in a leaky diaper!
Don't use any bleach products, bleach is a strong chemical and will break
down the fibers in your diapers. If you have stains, hang or lay your diapers
in the sun, it works wonders!
Don't use fabric softener. It will coat the diapers making them water repellent
and will cause leaks! Be aware that if you use dryer sheets in your dryer
for other laundry this can coat your dryer and transfer to your diapers.
A wet pail (pail filled with water & detergent) is not necessary or recommended
for dirty cloth diapers and can pose an additional drowning hazard. A dry
pail with a tight fitting lid works fine for dirty diapers.
