prints are made with two layers of this excellent fleece
(solid colors are 1 layer). These are a good choice for
heavy wetters and longer times between changes. There are
three snaps on
each side of the waist and three snaps at the legs for maximum
adjustments. Deluxe Fleece covers work great with all types
of diapers. They will hold an unpinned prefold, but you
may be more satisfied if the prefold is pinned or secured
with a snappi fastener. Fleece works so well as a diaper
cover. It's 100% polyester and allows superior air circulation
and therefore reduces diaper rash caused by prolonged exposure
to wetness. In addition, it is soft to the touch, dries
in a flash, and can withstand laundry abuse. If you are
searching for a great fitted diaper, we recommend Happy
Hempy's.
All covers are made from luxurious, 200 weight fleece made
by Malden Mills. This is a no-pill, tightly woven fabric.
It is the same weight and type that many upscale mail-order
and retail stores use for their serious outerwear. Many
moms who have used fleece of all kinds and swear by this
brand of fleece for superior wetness protection and prevention
of leaks.

Machine wash in Warm water,
cold, or hot. Tumble dry. Dryer sheets can help to make it
even more water resistant and improves the performance, but
is suggested as a last resort if there is some leaking (dryer
sheets leave chemicals on the fabric). Wash covers with any
load of laundry as long as it isn't really soiled and needs
special attention. There is almost no wrong way to wash fleece.
If you suddenly find that your fleece is leaking, simply switch
laundry soaps (use Dr.Bronner's for a change or even mild
dish soap). This should solve the problem. If it doesn't,
Nikwax products should help.
