Nursing Notions
For your specialty breastfeeding needs, we carry a line
of Nursing Notions made by Julie Miller, a nursing mommy! Julie's
made a few items that help support your breastfeeding success.
Reminder
Bracelets
In years past, a diaper pin pinned to your bra strap
was a reminder on which side you should start feeding a newborn
on. Nursing Notion's designer came up with another solution.

Made with 4mm round beads that won't dig into your
skin. They are comfortable to wear (and even sleep in) and
with the variety of colors available, they will go with virtually
anything. Made with clear stretchable cord,
they are easy on and easy off when switching sides.
You pick 1 or 3 color choices to make your own set.
Nursing
Capes
While Balter Baby feels that nursing your baby in
the open is natural; we know that the world hasn't caught
up to us yet. For whatever reason (in-laws, waiters, and the
PTA to name a few), if you feel the need to be "discreet"
while feeding your baby, don't hide in the bathroom or in
your car! Our nursing capes should do the trick.
Our Nursing Notions capes fasten behind your neck with
a hook and eye closure to prevent tiny little hands from uncovering
your shocking baby feeding escapades. Wonderful for nursing
in mixed company or out in public. Available in warm flannel
and light weight cotton. Some are even reversible.
Nursing
Necklaces
Now with a Safety Magnetic Break-Away Clasp!
Some beads made exclusively for Nursing Notions and cannot
be found elsewhere.
When baby is at the breast nursing,
they can pinch, knead, pull and squeeze Mommy. As they get
older they are easily
distracted trying to see all that is going on around them.
When this happens they turn and take Mommy along with them.
Either scenario can be painful. These bright and colorful Nursing
Necklaces can help. They keep baby’s attention where
it should be, at the breast.
